EDWARD A. ALCANTARA..
God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered, come with me.
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with us, but his fight was not in vain.
God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.


Born July 13, 1930, Passed March 6, 2008 to his new life.

Survived by his brother, Wilfred Alcantara; sister, Claire Kay; wife, Julia Alcantara; children, Cynthia Cates, Nicole Alan, Rhonda Howard, Juliegh Alcantara and Edward Alcantara II; sons-in-law, Alan Cates, Gene Howard; grandchildren, Brittany Haynes, Nick Cates, Edward Delgado, Cynthia Navarro, Christopher Abeyta, Richard Abeyta, Rudy Abeyta, Cameron Howard, Dominick, Desireanne, Dynene, Devin, Dominique, Deonera, Amanda and Anais Alcantara.

Ed was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren. He was loved very much and will be missed always and forever in our hearts.
